Anthon B Nilsen AS is an active business group with its current principal activities being within property development, provision of private education in the Group's own schools and global trading with recovered paper for reuse by the world's pulp and paper industry.

The company was established in 1879 and builds its activities upon a clearly defined set of core values deeply rooted in the history of the company. The recently relaunched logo, the pentagon, is the unique brand the founding father had registered for the branding of timber in the company's early days.
