ABN Recycling

Rooted in the trading tradition of Anthon B Nilsen, the company has developed its trading with collected paper and plastic to become one of the worlds leading independent players in its field. During the course of a year the company is arranging deals between approximately 500 suppliers in 20 countries and 150 customers in 15 countries.

The main stream of supply is from the U.S. and Europe to Asia. Total volume traded annually is about 450 000 tons.

ABN employs a staff of highly skilled professionals at its headquarter in Paris and operates a network of joint ventures and affiliate partners in Europe, USA and Asia. The core competence of the business is its closeness to customers and comprehensive capabilities in logistics and financing.

In order to be able to operate efficiently in this truly global market, ABN has entered into a co-operation agreement with Paprec, a leading French recycling group with a total trading volume of some 3 million tons. The two partners operate independently, but co-operate to secure major deals in the large export markets.
